Inspired by the artist Laure Heinz (whose work I found on a walk), the Santa Ynez Valley, and the beginning of Bob Dylan’s 1970 album Self Portrait, I started painting on discarded cardboard in the spring of 2025. I’m calling this collection All The Tired Horses In the Sun, How Am I Supposed to Get Any Writing Done.
